Fljótsbakki is a great option to stay for a longer period and do day-trips to explore the best of North Iceland in one go.

 

It is centrally based in the North region, between the towns of Akureyri (38 km.), Mývatn (40 km.) and Húsavík (Known for Whale Watching Tours, 50 km.) It is also at the gateway to the highland road Sprengisandsleið which leads to Aldeyjarfoss, Sprengisandur, Askja and other extraordinary places.​

Laugar is 15 km. away, with their excellent swimming pool and by the end of our driveway, only 4 km away, you will find one of Iceland´s most famous waterfalls, Goðafoss (The Waterfall Of The Gods).
